Curtiss C-46 Commando U.S. WWII transport aircraft C46A was a transport version fitted with a larger cargo door, strengthened cargo floor and a hydraulic winch. It had space to carry 40 troops. Kit includes two markings for U.S. Air Force 1943-44 operating in India, China and Burma. The Hump is the name pilots gave to the western Himalaya, Curtiss C-46 were the workhorse transporting supplies to china from India bases, able to carry light artillery and lot of different provisions. Several aircraft were lost in transit and never found. Kit includes PE detail parts as well as Resin detail parts for engines.
